Mounting and burning .iso images in Windows 10 is as easy as it can be. All it requires is a couple of clicks and you are good to go. This visual tutorial will show you step-by-step exactly what you have to do.
The first step is to open Windows Explorer and navigate to the location where you have downloaded your .iso image into.
In my case, the .iso image is stored on Desktop in a folder titled ISO.
The next thing to do is to right-click on the download .iso image and click on Mount. Unless the .iso image is corrupted, Windows will mount it as a new virtual drive. This drive will show up in the Devices and drives manager as a DVD-ROM drive.
IMPORTANT NOTE: If you would like to burn the .iso image rather than mount it, simply select the “Burn disc image” option and follow the instructions.
You can simply select it from the left menu (the grey DVD Drive at the very bottom). From there, you can access the content of the .iso image just like you could if it was a regular CD. The only thing you cannot do is to add anything to it.
